Yoga Luxury Retreat
Puglia, Southern Italy - 11-16th October 2019
I am very excited to announce my offering of a retreat in beautiful Puglia, south Italy.
Join me for a truly immersive yoga experience, and take time for yourself to recharge and soak in the Italian culture and sun. In my experience, Puglia is a beautiful place and I would love to share this with you.The retreat will be based over 6 days and 5 nights, and will include beautiful plant-based cuisine from a local chef who likes to source local and organic food. There will be two practices daily, one in the morning starting with optional meditation, pranayama, then going onto an energising 90min Vinyasa practice to get you set up for the day ahead. The evening practice is a slower Hatha practice and restorative.
Day break-down (subject to small changes):
• Optional meditation & pranayama session (30mins)
• 90 mins Vinyasa extended practice with relaxation
• Hearty Brunch served
• Free time, full use of swimming pool, sun deck and yogashala,
- optional excursions to local towns and beaches
• Afternoon snacks, teas
• Hatha/Restorative, introspective 60mins evening practice
• Evening meal served
• Socialising time, or free time. Some time to share, play games or group meditate circle.
- Time to reflect, maybe writing a journal about your experiences from the day
I would like to create a safe space for a full immersive experience of yoga, as well as sharing and nurturing your body and mind. Allowing group time to connect and give a supportive and creative environment for the inclusion of everyone. Reflective time can also be a very important part of this, sometimes things can only become really clear when you fully slow down and open up to the experience.
Things to do locally:
YogApulia is located between the towns of Ostuni and Fasano with Martina Franca very close by. Its location is parallel to an expansive coastline, the nearest beach being 25min away by car. Car hire is very cheap and can be ordered online to be collected from Bari airport upon your arrival. If you were planning on getting around alot during your stay, this could be a very good option. There are beautiful local towns that can be visited including Ostuni and Monopoli (a coastal town). Puglia has a rich cultural heritage with fascinating architecture and spectacularly unique churches to visit. Puglia is famous for its olive oil and theres no shortage of olive groves amongst the local scenery. A simple relaxed way of life fills the streets with plenty of cafe culture to explore or finding a good gelato to enjoy by the beach.
